Solomon Douglas has been teaching Lindy, Blues, and Jazz since 1999. He is well known and continues to teach internationally in the US, Canada, UK,
Australia and Asia. Solomon's bands have had similar appeal playing for Lindy Hoppers and dancers around the world. In 2006, he even
toured as a member of the Glenn Miller Orchestra. In the US and Japan. Solomon Douglas will not only be teaching 8 workshops, but he will
also be performing with his trio. Dancers everywhere can enjoy this rare opportunity in Rochester with Solomon Douglas and Lindy Jam's Angela Shek.

- 10:00am–11:15am: Blues I: The Basics of Blues Movement - Lay a strong foundation to build on for the weekend
- 11:25am–12:40am: Blues II: Gettin' Groovy - Building skills and adding to your Blues repertoire
- 2:00pm–3:15pm: Charleston I: 1920's Charleston and Beyond (Mostly partnered)
- 3:25pm–4:40pm: Grapevine and One-Step Patterns - Don't worry about counting to 6 or 8, this makes every step count
Sunday, September 28
- 10:00am–11:15am: Swing Out Review and Cool Moves for Lindy Hop
- 11:25am–12:40am: Charleston II: More Charleston and Sweet Lindy Charleston Moves
- 2:00pm–3:15pm: Turning Moves Into Movement - Smoothing it out and bringing it together
- 3:25pm–4:40pm: Bluesy Lindy and Swinging Blues - Marrying Lindy & Blues
- 5:30pm–6:30pm: PIZZA Party (To ensure there is enough food, you must register to eat. NO walk-ins.)
- 6:00pm–10:00pm: Solomon Douglas Trio

The Friday Night RSDN Dance is NOT included with the Solomon Douglas regestration.
Friday Night September 26, 2008: RSDN hosts a live band dance with JON SEIGER & THE ALL STARS!!
Beginner lesson at 7:30pm. Music starts at 8:00pm. Jon Seiger is known for his great Louis Armstrong impression.
The RSDN is a separate organization and admission is required at the door. The Friday night RSDN dance will be held at the
Eisenhart Auditorium (Rochester Museum and Science Center), 657 East Ave. Rochester NY 14607.
